Celebrating Culture, Connection and Family
Join us for a special virtual information session on India adoption
Barker is excited to invite you to a Virtual India Heritage Adoption Information Night on Tuesday, July 30 at 7 p.m. ET, designed especially for families of Indian heritage and others considering adoption from India.
This meaningful evening will offer a closer look at Barker’s India Program—our longest-standing international program—and explore how you or someone you know can take the next step toward building or expanding a family.
Why Attend?
Over the past five years, more than 25 children from India have joined loving families through Barker. Our India Adoption Program is deeply rooted, well-established, and supported by experienced staff both in the U.S. and abroad.
We’re proud to have a trusted staff member based in India who walks alongside traveling families. Our team also makes regular visits to meet with India’s central adoption authority, CARA, ensuring strong partnerships and the best outcomes for children.
So far in 2025, two children have come home—and five more families are matched and preparing for placements in early 2026.
What to Expect
At this info night, you’ll hear from:
- Our India program team, who will share a brief presentation and the latest updates
- A Barker family who will reflect on their recent adoption journey
- Live Q&A, where you can ask questions and learn more in real time
We’ll also talk about the importance of children growing up in families that reflect and celebrate their cultural heritage. Whether you're just beginning your research or are ready to take the next step, this session is designed to inform and inspire.
Help Us Spread the Word
Please share this invitation with friends, family members, and anyone in your community who may be thinking about adoption from India. Let’s come together to celebrate the power of heritage, connection, and family.
