Keeping Barker strong, preserving our enduring commitment to serve children and families for a lifetime.
Throughout our history, The Barker Adoption Foundation has enjoyed tremendous financial support from Barker families and friends, foundations, and corporations.
To protect Barker's efforts to strengthen and expand vital programs, support, and services, as well as safeguard our ability to serve families well into the 21st century, The Legacy Fund was created to provide a substantial and protected financial base to help keep Baker strong and vital.
Income from The Legacy Fund provides annual financial support, allowing Barker to work in a stable, debt-free environment – assured in our ability to provide support and services so crucial to all members of the adoption community today, tomorrow, and in the many years to come.
Many people choose to give to The Legacy Fund by check, from their assets -stocks, gifts from their IRA or grants from their Donor-Advised Funds, and through their will or trust.
To make a gift to The Legacy Fund or for more information, please contact Michele Mazzei, Director of Development, at 301-664-9664 or by email at mmazzei [at] barkerfoundation.org.
